• Baveno, at Villa Fedora

Baveno is a splendid town on Lake Maggiore and offers a large park in Villa Fedora, with green, shaded areas and services. Just 10 minutes from Stresa and 20 minutes from Verbania, the beach of Villa Fedora in Baveno is one of the most beautiful family beaches on Lake Maggiore.

The beach and the park offer an inclusive play area and a new fitness trail, are barrier-free and can be used by everyone.

• Feriolo of Baveno

The beaches of Feriolo di Baveno are the closest to the campsites on Lake Maggiore: the town is splendid, set in the small gulf, with a busy and lively lakeside promenade where there are restaurants and bars. The beach is the most suitable for those with even small children, as it is sandy and much loved by families. Easily reachable even in the day from Milan, Varese and Turin. From Feriolo there is an easy cycle-pedestrian path that leads to the discovery of the Fondotoce Special Nature Reserve to find lots of nature and take relaxing walks with your children.

• Verbania-Intra, Arena

Arena beach is located in Verbania, the most recent beach and one of the best served on Lake Maggiore. The beach is located near the Teatro Maggiore and the municipal library building. At the side of the beach a very nice bar with comfortable tables both indoors and outdoors, lake view, comfortable toilets for children, shower on site. Possibility to rent sunbeds and umbrellas.

MERGOZZO LAKE

Lake Mergozzo is a destination that we recommend to families as it is very clean, motorized navigation is prohibited, it can also be easily reached by cycle paths.

• Free beach in Verbania (La Rustica) near the Verbania-Fondotoce railway station

Very suitable for families with children, this sandy and grassy beach is very large but also shaded, the bottom of the lake is shallow and therefore particularly suitable for even small children because it slopes gently.

If you want to treat your family to an afternoon of playing in the water or making sand castles with the children... this beach is the right one.

• Mergozzo beach (La Quartina) near the Quartina restaurant in Mergozzo

Very close to the small center of Mergozzo, the free beach is on a grassy lawn, the waters are clean, with a mini playground perfect for entertaining children and a quality restaurant with a terrace overlooking Lake Mergozzo.

From the beach, a lakeside promenade leads to the delightful village of Mergozzo where you can find bars, restaurants and ice cream parlors and on the other side (after a short stretch on the provincial road) leads to another beach with a beach volleyball court and kiosks with refreshments and where you can rent sunbeds and pedal boats.
